What you will need for this step

For one half:

• 1 x ProMicro
• 2 x 12-pin socket (top left)
• 12 x through-hole diodes (right)
• Tape (optional)
• Flush cutters
• Small needle nose pliers
• Soldering iron, solder

Discard the pin headers that come with the ProMicro (lower left)

Goal

Here is what we are working towards:

The Pro Micro is installed on the top of the board, upside down and in the marked holes.

• Top of the board: this is the side of the PCB opposite the diodes, LEDs and switch sockets
